The city provides a wide range of services for its residents. These services include a well trained police force, paramedics, recreation and parks, planning and development, street improvements and lighting and general administration.

The community administrative council has organized many recreational activities for residents in order to continue to maintain that tight-knit and family-friendly atmosphere that makes Fontana such a wonderful place to live.

There are projects that are being planned out to make Fontana an even more wonderful place to live in. They plan to replenish the downtown area with the development of the new Civic Center and Senior Housing Project, as well as improving the sewer and storm drains, and continuing to promote and create new recreational opportunities for the residents.
